S.I. WOOL MEETING
H. W. Wlckstead, of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Ltd, Christchurch, featured prominently in competitions held in conjunction with the South Island Wool Association’s annual conference at Lincoln College this week.
He won the quality number competition and also the combined quality number and yield assessment section. With C. J. Bunting and I. D. Duff, he was also a member of the National Mortgage and Agency Company team which won the challenge shield for the quality number and yield competition. The individual yield competition resulted in a tie between N. G. Smith (Walter Hill and Sons, Christchurch) and P. Giles (South Farmer’s Co-operative Association, Invercargill).
