Seeedway Title,— p. Waloszek (Poland) won the European final at the world speedway championship at Wroclaw, West Poland. I. Mauger (N.Z.) was fourth, and B. Briggs (N.Z.) fifth. Both qualified for theworld championship finals.
Cycling Win.— The Italian. M. Dancelll, won the Paris-Luxem-bourg cycle event, although only eleventh in the final stage, won by G. Guimard (FrancS).
