Death From Injuries

A man died on Friday evening as the result of injuries suffered in a motor accident at the intersection of Worcester Street and Latimer Square on August 1. He was Henry Peter Donaldson, aged 63, married, of 24 Champion Street, St Albans. Driver Killed The driver was killed and a passenger seriously injured when a car overturned five miles north of Murupara, on the Rotorua-Murupara highway, on Saturday morning, the Press Association says. The man killed was David Morehu Taylor, aged 35, married, a foreman bushman, of 31 Pine Drive, Murupara. The passenger, Mr T. Hone-

tana, aged 20, a bushman, of Murupara, was taken to the Rotorua Hospital, where his condition is satisfactory.

The car is believed to have skidded in loose metal, and overturned after striking a bank. Passenger Dies A young Opotiki man, who was a passenger in a car which left the East Coast highway at Hukuwai, and overturned on Friday night, died on Saturday in the Opotiki Hospital. He was George Crosswell, of Union Street, Opotiki. Car Hit Bridge One student died, and another suffered minor injuries, when a car plunged into the Mangahuia Stream, about three miles from National Park, yesterday, after hitting a bridge. The youth killed was Barry William Searing, aged 20, of 211 Morningside Road, Whangarei, a passenger in the car, and a student at the Ardmore Engineering School. The driver, Richard Geoffrey Nevile, aged 20, of Lee Road, Matakana, was admited to the Taumarunui Hospital suffering from exposure and minor chest injuries. His condition late last night was satisfactory.
