Soccer Game Abandoned
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. A central league soccer match between Western Suburbs and Hungaria was abandoned at the Basin Reserve, Wellington, on Saturday. The referee, Mr J. Galloway, had ordered off three Hungaria players—J. Gaal, A. Polyansky and J. Beck. The match got further out of hand when the Hungaria club players remaining in the game passed to the three ordered-off players standing on the sideline. Suburbs was leading 6-1 when the game was abandoned 15 minutes from fulltime.
