Trainer May Get Three Wins

"The Press" Special Service AUCKLAND.

W. Sanders, for many years a leading trainer in the north, has a great chance of saddling up three winners at Tauranga today—Lu Filou. Choucuana and Spray Doone

Choucuana and Lu Filou have firmed in favour with the prospect of good footing. Spray Doone meets a moderate lot in the Rangitaiki Hurdles.

Lu Filou is the top-weight in the main event, the Whakatane Cup, and Choucuana is in the Ohope Handicap. Apart from failing at Ellerslie last month, when the shifty ground was against her. Choucuana has looked a very promising sprinter.

Lu Filou showed by his third at Pukekohe last Saturday that he was nearing peak form. Lu Filou’s toughest rivals in the first leg of the T.A.B. double appear likely to be Dark Arrow. Utah. Escameno, and the front runner. Papeete

The second leg of the T.A.B. double will be the Board Mills Handicap, in which notable candidates are Foxvale, Blue Winter. Mike Haynes, Just Wishing, Mitamit, and Ginza.
