For the former, applicants should have a sound knowledge of numerical analysis and computer processing and prefer ably an interest in computeraided design. For the latter a sound knowledge of the mechanics of materials is desirable. An appointee as senior lec turer will be expected to assist in development of undergraduate and graduate courses and will supervise research in his field of interest.
