The appointee will be responsible for the teaching of Science German and will also be required to take part in the practical teaching of German in Arts courses. The Department provides undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Physiology, Anatomy and Pharamacology for courses leading to degrees in Veterinary Science, Agricultural Science and Science. The Professor will be responsible for academic leadership in these three disciplines and for the co-ordination and, where appropriate, the integration of their teaching. It is desirable, though not essential, that he have a degree in veterinary science and that he have considerable experience in at least one of the disciplines, and for which he will be expected to assume direct responsibility for teaching and research.
