FOKKER VISIT
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 8. A Dutch Fokker F2B jet aircraft, described by the Minister of Civil Aviation (Mr Gordon) as “a straight Viscount replacement,” will be coming to New Zealand in February, 1969. The pending visit of the F2B was announced during an address last night by Mr Gordon to the Wellington branch of the Royal Aeronautical Society. Mr Gordon also told the meeting that the Lockheed LlOll, the “junior jumbo,” could be the aircraft that would replace Air New Zealand's DCBs.
