RACE FILM TONIGHT
Screening At Riccarton A film which will be of general interest to owners, trainers and jockeys will be shown in the members’ tearoom at Riccarton Racecourse tonight The screening, which will begin at 8 p.m. and is expected to take at least two hours, will be presented by Mr W. Scott of Whakatane. Mr Scott who is in charge of race-filming at Trentham, will discuss various incidents shown in the film and will point out to riders pitfalls that can be avoided. The screening has been aranged by the Canterbury branch of the Owners, Breeders and Trainers’ Association, and will be open to the public.
