TWO ROUNDS OF HOCKEY

The end of the second round will complete the club hockey championship, the management committee of the Canterbury association has decided, after receiving a recommendation from its competitions subcommittee.

The remaining matches this season will count towards the Taylor Trophy, and the clubs will be asked to play on Sundays should bad weather cause cancellations in the senior grade. The senior A grade will be split after the second round and the senior reserve B and second grades will be combined at the completion of the third round. The secondary schools grade will be divided after Saturday’s matches.
