Jubilee Of Church
A week-end of special activities including a garden party, a social evening and a song service will be held on October 26 and 27 to mark the jubilee of St Ninian’s Presbyterian Church, Riccarton.
The minister (the Rev. R. J. Griffiths) said that a garden party would be held at Deans Bush on the Saturday afternoon and in the evening a social gathering would be held in the church hall. A former minister of the church, the Rev. J. S. Strang, who is now in Nelson, would speak at one of the services of Holy Communion on the Sunday morning and a special song service would be held jn the evening.
