LOCH NESS MONSTER

New Season Begins (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) INVERMORISTON, (Scotland), July 9. The Loch Ness monster season got under way when a Scottish carpenter reported that he saw the famed tourist attraction swimming around for about four minutes. “I thought at first it was a huge rock,” said Mr John Mackey, aged 23, “but then it began moving in semi-circles and throwing up a terrific spray.” Mr Mackay said he saw the monster from a spot near where the road rises to 100 ft above the loch surface. He estimated it to be 16ft long and Bft high. It was jet black, and what appeared to be its head looked something like the head of an enormous sheep.
