Printing was the most up-to-date and forward looking industry in New Zealand in terms of equipment and technology, and could hold its own with any other country, Mr R. E. Owen told the Christchurch Club of Printing House Craftsmen, at its apprentices’ evening. Mr Owen, the retiring Government Printer, has held that position for the last 19 years.
