Retail Meat Apprentices
The Christchurch Technical Institute plans to arrange a course for. retail meat apprentices. ' ,
The Canterbury Frozen Meat Company had offered 12 months free accommodation at Belfast for the course, reported the principal (Mr D W. Lyall) to a meeting of the institute’s board qf governors last evening.
It was stated that there were about 440 retail meat Shops in Canterbury. Tutors will be advertised for according to the number of apprentices who come forward.
