TRAINING SQUAD
The Canterbury sole selector coach (Mr R. Entwistle) has announced a training squad of 10 womens indoor basketball players from whom an A grade team will be selected to play in the Canadian goodwill tournament in Blenheim on May 18.
The players are: Misses C. Reuben (Rangiora), H. Hutton (Brighton), Mrs S. Rennell, Miss G. Sweeney, Mrs P. Wadsworth (Checkers), Misses R. Leask (Rex A), S. Lee (Rex B). G. Hannan. A. Lees (University), S. McLachlan (Teachers’ College).
