Bottled Beer Pints
(N Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 21. to cater for lounge bar drinkers who do not want to drink export strength beers, breweries are now bringing on to the market pint bottles of lower priced lower-gravity beers. The president of the Wellington Hotel Association (Mr Frank Drewltt) said today the breweries were
taki-.g this step to meet public demand. Two brands had been readily available in recent months and it was expected that others were on the way. Mr Drewltt said in his own hotel the low-gravity one-pint bottles were available tn a mixed drinking lounge at 23 cents (three cents more than bottle store price).
