Flood Damage $55,000
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, April 18. The flood damage to homes and roads in the Wyndham district has been provisionally estimated at $55,000. Some 30 homes and 25 roads in the district are affected. Most Wyndham residents have returned to their homes and at Mataura all but two families are back. Areas damaged by the flood at Wyndham and Mataura were inspected today by the members of Parliament for Awarua and Wallace, Messrs G. G. Grieve and B. E. Taiboys.
