Otago Gains W. Potae
(N.Z. Press Association) TAURANGA. W. Potae, the full-back and a prolific goal-kicker for Bay of Plenty over the last few years, has moved to the South Island. “He will play this season’s Rugby in Otago,” Mr R. Bryers, the Bay’s sole selector, said yesterday. “There are some useful full-backs in the Bay of Plenty but none with Potae's kicking ability, and it is in this department his departure is going to be felt,” he added.
