Six Coaches Passed (N Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. I Six of the 26 candidates who' took the examinations at the[ advanced cricket coaching! course at Rotorua during the Easter week-end were [ awarded district certificates. 1 the national coach, M. J. Horton, said yesterday. They are:—L. Sparks (Marlborough), M. Cotter (Thames Valley), P. Coutts (Hawke’s Bay), M. Batchelor, (Tauranga), D. R. Hadlee (Christchurch) and J. C. Maclure (Wanganui). Twelve other candidates.! said Mr Horton, received advanced certificates:—H. Bailey (King Country), R. Bean! (Marlborough), P. R. Bull; (Auckland), G. P. Gardiner[ (Northland), B. Gunson (King Country), R- Hooton (Auckland), M. Wellington (Franklin), I. A. McLennan (Thames), R. S. Park (Well lington), J. E. Smith (Roto- 1 rua), P. D. Stone (Tauranga) J R. A. Dykes (Auckland). The examiners were Messrs B. Sutcliffe, A. Spurdie and D. Morland. Mr Horton said 34 were expected to attend the school but eight were prevented by l the bad weather. One of I these was R. C.
