Three Schools To Change
(N.Z. Press Association)
WELLINGTON, April 16. Because of the economic situation the Government is prepared to convert only three schools to forms I to VI schools instead of the six schools approved in principle for conversion some time ago. The schools at Kaeo, Okato and Palmerston will be changed. The Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella) said today that when circumstances permitted the Government would consider further conversions.
A new type of area high school could be established at Ranfurly, he said.
