Faire Now Unbeatable
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. With three firsts and a second in the first four races, J. Faire (Hamilton), sailing Marietta, has taken an unassailable lead in the national Zephyr class yachting championship. The sixth and final race will be sailed today but Faire has such a large points lead over his fellow Hamiltonian, B. Smith, in Cindy, that he does not need to start. Results: First Race. —Marietta 1. Sirocco (P. Nicholls. Hamilton). 2, Karoro (D. Barker, Auckland) 3. Second Race.—Marietta 1, Cindy (B. Smith, Hamilton) 2, Easterly (Miss S. Currie, Christchurch) 3. Third Race.—Marietta 1, Cindy 2, Sirocco 3. Fourth Race.—Hauiti (H. Davidson, Mangere) 1, Marietta 2, Checkmate (D. Cook, Auckland) 3. Fifth Race.—Hauiti 1. Prefect (P.
