Henderson In Squash Final
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The leading Canterbury player, J. Henderson, took five sets to beat D. Oliver (New Plymouth) in the semi-finals of the Wellington squash championships yesterday. Henderson will meet G. Maddon (Palmerston North) in today’s final. Haddon had little trouble beating M. Grant (Tawa), 9-1. 9-3, 9-6.
The women’s final will be between the title-holder. Miss T. Lawes (Mitchell Park) and the number two seed. Miss P. Simon (Wellington).
