Fourth Win In Cherubs
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. R. Bowler and D. McGlashan, of Auckland, yesterday took an unbeatable lead in the New Zealand Cherub class yachting championships at Muritai. They need only to start their boat Mecca today to take the championship, after scoring their fourth consecutive win yesterday. Results:— Fourth Race. —Mecca 1, Serendipity (P. and R. Walker. Auckland) 2, Whispers (G. Stagg, P. Sharland, Wellington) 3.
Points ’ (after four races): Mecca 6192. Serendipity 4988, Sharac (D. Woodroffe, I. Kettle, Auckland) 3539.
