CAPPING PROCEEDS
Paraplegic Society
The Canterbury University Students’ Association has chosen the Paraplegic Association in Christchurch to receive the proceeds of its capping week procession in May. A target of $lO,OOO has been set. The Paraplegic Association plans to build a rehabilitation centre to help particularly, persons between the ages of 18 and 30 who have (ost the use of limbs.
The students also plan to hold a raffle in graduation week to raise $4OO to $5OO for the Prisoners’ Aid and Rehabilitation Society.
