STYLISH MAJOR
Start In Doubt
"The Press’* Special Service DUNEDIN. It Is most unlikely that Stylish Major will start in the InterDominion Trotters’ Championship at Auckland. He has developed a cracked hoof and his trainer, C. C. Scott, said yesterday that a start for Stylish Major was "very doubtful.’* The trouble forced his withdrawal from the Otago Mile at Forbury Park last week and be has been lame since. Stylish Major’s badly cracked hoof was filled with fibreglass yesterday. He will be jogged this morning and if he pulls up soundly will make the trip north with his stablemate, Le Chant.
