Miss Stirling’s Record
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. January 23. Fresh from her triumphs in the New South Wales championships, Miss G. Stirling excelled during the fourth session of the Auckland swimming championships last evening. She won the 220 yards women’s backstroke in 2min 36sec to break the New Zealand junior mark held by Miss T. K. Shipston, 2min 39.1 sec.
