Rowntree Cup To Andy Capp
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The Wellington yacht, Andy Capp, yesterday emerged as strong favourite to take the national Junior Cherub championship which will begin at Evans Bay today. Sailed by P. Williams and D. Oliver yesterday, Andy Capp scored a handsome win in the invitation race for the Rowntree Cup. Canterbury yachts filled the places after Andy Capp. They were Tahuti (B. Sinclair and C. Cotter), Tijuana (S. Smith and S. Dinmore), and Casino (A. Ineson and P. Collingwood).
