TEA PRICE INCREASED
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 16. Most brands of tea will cost 4e more per lb from tomorrow, meaning an average price, excluding specials, of 72c per lb. Devaluation is blamed for the increase, because Australia, the United States and South Africa have forced up prices at tea auctions in Ceylon. Six brands will rise in price in Auckland.
