Sir,—l have had the same problem as “Robbed” when shopping in Woolworths, New Brighton. Mr Grayson says that Id equals Ic. I won’t challenge that, but no other shop will accept Id for Ic. They only take denominations making 6d or sc, which was the agreed tender at the time of decimal change - over.— Yours, etc., ALSO ROBBED. December 1, 1967.
