THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND (1) LABORATORY TECHNICIAN IN PHYSIOLOGY Duties: Will include the preparation of materials for practical classes and other technical services. (2) LABORATORY TECHNICIAN IN PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY Duties will include the preparation of laboratories for classes, the assembly of equipment for teaching and research in physical chemistry and other general technical work. Qualifications and Conditions Applicants should possess the C. and G. Laboratory Technician’s Certificate or other similar qualification and have had at least three years relevant experience. Commencing salaries will be determined according to qualifications and experience. except for Teaching Fellows where commencing salaries will be at the base of the range. Study leave travel grants are available and credit may be granted for existing Study Leave entitlement. Teaching Fellows are required to spend up to 12 hours per week on teaching and related departmental duties and to devote the remainder of their time to study for a higher degree.
