VISIT TO N.Z.
S. Korean President (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 27. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) announced tonight that the President of South Korea (Chung Hee Park) hoped to visit New Zealand next year, possibly in September or October. Mr Holyoake told a press conference that he had a “quite pressing” invitation to visit South Korea, but had not found a suitable opportunity. However, if the proposed summit conference of the seven Vietnam allies was held in Seoul next year, he might combine attendance at the conference with a visit to the republic.
