TALKS ON WAGES
Meeting In Camera (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 27. Moves for a general wage increase are understood to have been discussed at a special meeting today between the Federation of Labour executive and members of the Combined State Services Organisation. The meeting, held behind closed doors, discussed the effects on salary and wage earners. of the Government's economic restrictions and recent devaluation of the dollar. F.O.L. and State Service officials tonight declined to comment on the talks.
