Turkish Threat
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) ANKARA, Nov. 28. Turkey today rejected Greek proposals in their showdown over Cyprus and gave Greece until 3 a.m. on Wednesday to accept Turkish terms, according to informed sources in Ankara, United Press International reported. The Government of Cyprus reported eight Turkish warships cruising within 15 miles of the Mediterranean island and Turkish jets roaring over the island.
