"Mona Vale”
Sir, —I sincerely hope that the citizens of Christchurch will fully appreciate the wonderful offer of part of “Mona Vale.” If they reject it the same thing will happen there as has happened at other lovely old homes with fine gardens and glorious trees all bulldozed down by the builders to be replaced by ugly little modem houses. Christchurch will not much longer be called the garden city when so many of its old places are disappearing.— Yours, etc., OLD CHRISTCHURCH RESIDENT. November 3, 1967.
