Wysong Wins Play-off
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) OAHU (Hawaii). D. Wysong won the $lOO,OOO Hawaiian Open Golf tournament on Sunday on the first hole of a sudden death playoff with B. Casper. The play-off was on the par four 411 yd fifteenth hole. Wysong parred and Casper was one over. Wysong, aged 28, a Texan, won $20,000 and Casper received $12,000 for second prize. Both had finished with a four-under-par 284. R. J. Charles (New Zealand) had a 70-75-76-76 (297) to finish tied at forty-second. He collected $320.
