Rubber Strike Ends
Striking rubber workers at the Dunlop (N.Z.), Ltd, Woolston factory returned to work yesterday at 4 p.m.
The decision to end the five-day-old strike was made at a stop-work meeting after union officials had explained the outcome of a meeting with the management. They told the 166 idle employees that the situation which had started the strike no longer existed.
