Youth Council Plan
"Asia—Aid and Trade” would be the theme of the Canterbury Youth Council’s third annual forum on September 26, said Mr A. Ross, the convener of the organising committee. The forum will be attended by members of Christchurch youth organisations and secondary schools. About 100 are expected. The subject of the forum last year was citizenship. The emphasis on Asia this year was intended to show young people the importance of New Zealand’s aid and trade programmes in South-east Asia, Mr Ross said.
Hol«-1n-On«.—S. 8. H. Berkeley holed his tee shot at the seventh at Avondale at the week-end. He used a 7-iron.
