Motor-Cyclist Injured
A motor-cyclist was very seriously injured when he struck a herd of cows in Ashworth road, Oboka, about 5 p.m. yesterday. The motor-cyclist, David Wilson, of Ashworth road, suffered head and leg injuries. Last night he was on the seriously ill list in the Christchurch Hospital. The Rangiora police said last night that the accident occurred when the motor-cycle struck a herd of cows belonging to Mr H. Power, of Ohoka. A young woman, who was a pillion passenger, escaped injury.
