Burglaries And Thefts
A radio-telephone valued at £B5 was stolen from the premises of Piessey (N.Z.), Ltd., Peterborough street, recently. A wheel assembly valued at £l2 was stolen from a car parked outside the premises of Riverview Motors, Oxford terrace, on Thursday night Property valued at £3O was stolen from the Christchurch Teachers’ College in Montreal street between March and last Thursday. Goods of a total value of £4 5s were stolen from a shopping bag left in the foyer outside the library at the University of Canterbury on Wednesday. A house in Sturrocks road was broken into between 11.30 am. and 4.45 pm. yesterday, and property of a total value of £26 Ila fid was taken.
