‘TAJ MAHAL’ STUNT
Students Before Court (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 2«. Four students appeared in the Wellington Magistrate’s Court today on charges arising out of an incident involving a former public lavatory known as the “Taj Mahal.” The case was adjourned until Wednesday. On May 2, during a university stunt, students climbed on to the roof of the old conveniences between Cambridge and Kent terraces. Alan Monte Craven, aged 18, is charged with assaulting a police constable; Peter Lawrence Hendra, aged 19, with unlawfully interfering with a van; and Paul Brian Johnston, aged 19, and James Stephen Jamieson, aged 20, with obstructing a footpath.
