Three Sets For Sale As well as the souvenir coin sets on sale on Monday, the Minister of Finance, Mr Muldoon, will place six-coin “familiarisation” sets of new decimal coins on sale at post offices and banks on June 12. “The set is Intended to enable people to become familiar with the various features of the decimal coins before they come into official use on July 10," bo said in a statement yesterday. “The coins are not sealed in packets as are tho coins packed at the Mint They can be taken out of the container and handled.” Those sets will cost 10s. A-small children’s souvenir, containing a penny and a cent will go on sale shortly, according to the Minister's statement It la priced at 6d. Sales of decimal coins are limited to three items per person. “Polished grade collectors’ seta will not go on public sale,” Mr Muldoon said. A limited number of these were still available by sending a written order and remittance of a 10s to tho Treasury, Private Bag, Lambton Quay, Wellington. The sets were being delivered as supplies came to hand from London, and they should be completed by July, he said.
