"I am always touched by the wort of children in North Canterbury to help their less fortunate counterparts in troubled areas of the world,” said the president Of tbo North Canterbury branch of the Save the Children Fund (Miss M. G. Havetaar) at a meeting of the branch yesterday. "A group of children came to me with £26 they raised during the school holidays saying they had heard about the fund’s work and
wanted to help. There are many such children around here willing to help,” she said. <
