Jewish Dead Remembered

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 8. A special service wax held yesterday in the Wellington Synagogue in remembrance of the Jews who died fighting in the Warsaw Ghetto in 1943 and to honour the 6 million Jews who died at the hands of the Nazis. A special Scroll of Law, saved from the holocaust of Warsaw and rescued from the Nazis in Czechoslovakia and in the possession of the Wellington Hebrew congregation, was used for the first time.
