DACHSHUND SHOW
Fifty exhibit,. representing four varieties of dachshunds, were entered in the seventh breed championship show held by the Canterbury Dachshund Club.
The award for the best in the show went to Mrs M. Phillips's ch. Hatchmeade Viscount and runner-up was Mrs U. Tabley’s Gold Flush Pinocchio. The best puppy was Mr N. K. Boyd's Beaulaines Black Sultan and Mrs E. Cantwell's Klodo Glow was runner-up. The judge was Mrs M. Vest Askew, of Auckland.
Other awards were: Miniature smooth coat—Dogs: puppy under six months, Mrs N. Henry's Heinrich of Korohill, 1 and best dog. Bitches: puppy under six months. Mrs A. J. Cobeldlck's Dlminickel of Truro I, Mrs W. J. Woodlock’s Trehane of Truro 2; puppy under nine months, Mrs A. J. Cobeldlck's Dlmlnuitlve of Truro 1; puppy under 12 months, Mrs A. J. Cobeldlck's Querry of Truro 1: junior, Mrs A. J. Cobeldlck's Serendipity of Truro 1 Mrs J. J. Condon’s Ashford Tiflane 2; open, Mrs N. Henry’s Inkling of Truro 1; brood, Mrs A. J. Cobeldick’s Treneglo of Truro 1, Mrs N. Henry's Inkling of Truro 2; best bitch pup and best pup, Mrs A. J. Cobeldlck's Dlminuitlve of Truro; best bitch and best of breed, Mrs A. J.
