DACHSHUND SHOW

Fifty exhibit,. representing four varieties of dachshunds, were entered in the seventh breed championship show held by the Canterbury Dachshund Club.

The award for the best in the show went to Mrs M. Phillips's ch. Hatchmeade Viscount and runner-up was Mrs U. Tabley’s Gold Flush Pinocchio. The best puppy was Mr N. K. Boyd's Beaulaines Black Sultan and Mrs E. Cantwell's Klodo Glow was runner-up. The judge was Mrs M. Vest Askew, of Auckland.

Other awards were: Miniature smooth coat—Dogs: puppy under six months, Mrs N. Henry's Heinrich of Korohill, 1 and best dog. Bitches: puppy under six months. Mrs A. J.
