Post Office Parking
Sir, —Though often inadequate, Cathedral square provides convenient short-term parking for mail-box renters and post office customers. What parking provision is planned at the new post office on the South Island Motors site?—Yours, etc, SETH NEWELL. April 7, 1967. [The Chief Postmaster (Mr M. E. Wilson) replies: “This site has only just been acquired by the Post Office, and while plans have not yet been completed, I have no doubt that adequate off-street parking will be provided.”]
