Sir, —I feel Mr Glen is a little harsh in using the term “junk yard” for a museum and amusement park. However, it is a little difficult to wait until the project is completed before it is criticised. Surely the Science Museum of Kensington (London) or the Henry Ford Museum of Dearborn (U.S.) are not junk yards. If Mr Glen 'eels so strongly on the subject, there is absolutely nothing to stop him conducting his own fundraising effort (along with the many others conducted throughout the year), and I wish him success; but he should not attack others’ sincere efforts in providing worth-while amenities for the people of Christchurch.— Yours, etc, CHRIS C.
