SCHOOLS’ ROWING
St. Bede’s Wins Experience in the recent Maadi Cup contest, the premier rowing event for New Zealand schoolboy crews, served St. Bede’s College, Christ's College, and Christchurch Boys' High School in good stead In the schools regatta at Kerr’s Beach on Saturday. Top honours for eight-oar racing went to St. Bede’s, which won narrowly from Christchurch, with Christ's College third.
