Inspection By Councillors The 10 county councillors of the Waimairi County Council, inspected each riding on Saturday with officers of the county to discuss points of interest, and problems the council will face this year. Members visited Spencer park to see the increased traffic congestion that had occurred in the past year. More parking facilities and better access to and from the park had been discussed by councillors, said the county chairman (Mr D. B. Rich). The council also inspected the rubbish tip off Sawyers Arms road and discussed a proposed new tip to be opened nearby. The councillors left on Saturday morning and visited Marshlands, Styx, Belfast and Papanuiand in the afternoon Avonhead, Fendalton, Middleton and Wairarapa, in a tour which covered more than 70 miles.
