Deer And Thar
Sir,—lf “Plainsman” was a keen sporting fan he would notice that it is very hard to find a mob of deer, now that the Forest Service cullers have been working, except in the mating season which is about this time of year. A few nights in the mountains, after a kill, in the cold and rain, and he would not be worried about erosion, stopbanks, and catchment boards. —Yours, etc., HUNTER. March 9, 1967.
