Cape Horn Trip In 36ft Ketch
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, March 12. A British yachtsman, aged 53, has sailed a 36ft ketch around Cape Horn, the “Sunday Express” reported yesterday.
He is Mr Edward Allcard, who is sailing around the world in his 11-ton Sea Wanderer, built in 1911. Mr Allcard took a year to sail from Puerto Deseado—halfway between the River Plate and Cape Hom—to Valparaiso, Chile. His boat once sprang a leak. He was blown back several
